The Kerala Police Housing Co-operative society Ltd. is a society registered under Kerala Co- operative Societies Act of 1969, established with an aim to fulfill the housing needs of the policemen and officers working in Kerala Police and also to work Police for their welfare and general upliftment.

The Society was started functioning with effect from 15th Mar 1982. With the whole hearted support of the Director General of Police , Kerala and all the police officers and police personnel in the state, the society has carved out a niche for itself and has grown from strength to strength. The society is not only providing Housing loans and various types of advances ,but has also started a number of welfare schemes for the benefit of police personnel. Needless to say all the schemes started so far by the society received over whelming support and patronization of the policemen and officers.

Some of the welfare schemes that were started by the society such as Kishco, Soubhagya, and Suraksha are aimed to encourage thrift and savings habit amongst the police personnel. Some other schemes like CPAS, CARE were specifically aimed to help the families of the policemen, in case of sudden demise or disease of their bread earner.
